Terms of Service

1. Who may use the Service

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms in your jurisdiction. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

2. What the Service does

The Service lets you create a short URL that redirects visitors to a destination URL. Depending on the available features, you may protect a short URL with a password, verify an email address, sign in using a one-time code, and view approximate click analytics. Features, limits, domains, and availability may change over time.

3. Accounts, email, passwords, and access links

• You must provide accurate information and keep your email account, one-time codes, analytics links, tokens, and short-URL passwords secure.
• You are responsible for activity performed through credentials or private links issued to you. Notify us promptly through the contact page if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Password protection is an access-control convenience, not encryption or a guarantee of confidentiality. Do not use a short URL to share secrets or highly sensitive information.
• We may require email verification, CAPTCHA, rate limits, or other checks to prevent abuse.

4. Your destination URLs and content

You retain any rights you have in the destination URLs and content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, reproduce, and transmit the submitted URL and related metadata only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.

You are solely responsible for the destination, content, products, services, claims, and legal compliance associated with every short URL you create. A Yoro.cc short URL does not mean that we endorse, review, or control its destination.

5. Prohibited use

You may not use, or help anyone use, the Service to:

• violate any law, regulation, court order, or third-party right;
• distribute malware, ransomware, unwanted software, or code designed to disrupt, damage, surveil, or gain unauthorized access;
• conduct phishing, credential theft, fraud, impersonation, deceptive advertising, spam, or unsolicited bulk messaging;
• link to child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate content, unlawful exploitation, or content that poses a credible threat of harm;
• infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or data-protection rights;
• bypass security controls, blocklists, rate limits, access restrictions, or another service’s terms;
• probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure, except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
• misrepresent the source, destination, safety, or purpose of a link.

6. Monitoring, disabling, and abuse response

We may investigate suspected misuse and may block, disable, redirect to a warning page, or delete any short URL; restrict an email address, IP address, device, or account; preserve relevant records; and cooperate with service providers or lawful authorities. We are not required to monitor every URL and may act with or without prior notice when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or service integrity.

7. Analytics

Click counts and dimensions such as time, country, browser, and referrer are estimates. They may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, filtered, affected by bots or privacy tools, or combined from legacy and current systems. Analytics are provided for general informational use and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for billing, legal evidence, or mission-critical decisions.

8. Third-party destinations and services

The Service may interact with third-party infrastructure or websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, privacy practices, or transactions. Visiting a shortened destination is at the visitor’s own risk and subject to the destination’s terms and policies.

9. Service changes and availability

The Service is currently offered without a guaranteed service level. We may add, remove, limit, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service; change domains or technical requirements; and perform maintenance at any time. We do not promise that any short URL or analytics record will remain available indefinitely. You should keep a copy of every destination URL and any information you need.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, software, design, branding, and documentation, excluding your content and third-party materials, are owned by or licensed to the Service operator and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you a right to use the Yoro.cc name, logo, or marks except as necessary to identify the Service.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and share information and is incorporated into these Terms.

12. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE OPERATOR AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY OR US$10. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Service operator and its personnel and suppliers from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your destination content, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, disable short URLs, or delete associated data if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if continued operation is no longer practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including responsibility, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms—will survive.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version and update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when reasonably practicable. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them.

18. General

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, transfer, or sale of the Service. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding the Service.
